Meg
Meg fell in love with dancing as a child. She took classes in multiple genres at a local dance school for many years. She began assisting in classes in her late teens and found her love for teaching.
Meg is so proud and honoured of the community that SDC has built. She loves nothing more than being able to share her passion and inspiring the next generation.
Meg has over 15 years teaching experience. She is a qualified dance teacher with IDTA and hold an Acrotrix Teaching Qualification.
She is also fully insured, first aid trained, safeguarding trained, enhanced DBS checked and holds a chaperone licence,

Emily
Dance Teacher
Emily discovered a love for dancing at a very young age and has taken classes exploring a variety of genres. She began assisting in classes whilst at school and choreographed whole school productions.
Emily is keen to share her passion and enthusiasm for dance with others and be part of the SDC team. Emily has been teaching dance since 2010, specialising in ballet, tap, modern, acrobatics and musical interpretation and holds qualifications within these with the CDA. Emily has also been a qualified primary school teacher since 2016.
Emily is enhanced DBS checked, safeguarding trained and holds a chaperone license.
Amy
Dance Teacher
Amy has been dancing since the age of 6, training in a variety of styles including ballet, tap, modern and jazz.
Throughout her dancing journey, she has competed across England, achieving runner-up in the adult section at just 15 years old at All England Competition in London! Dance has been a huge passion of hers, and being able to share her love for dance and inspire the next generation of dancers at SDC has been a dream come true. Amy loves helping students grow in confidence, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy every moment of dancing!
Amy is enhanced DBS checked, safeguarding trained and holds a chaperone license.
Sophie started performing at the age of 5 and joined SDC when she was 14. Sophie studied dance at school, sixth form and then later went on to graduate at Arden School of theatre in Manchester.
She has many years experience teaching and performing professionally. Sophie is a huge inspiration to many and we adore having her teach our students once a month.

Studio Care Manager
Emma is our Studio Care Manager and you'll often see her welcoming students on a Saturday.
She has been part of our dance family for many years. She brings a wealth of experience in early years education from her day to day role. We feel very fortunate to have her apart of our team.
Emma is enhanced DBS checked, safeguarding trained, holds a chaperone license and is our DSL.
